Enderslea has gone through significant changes and been the setting of notable events over more than 170 years of history.

Originally a citrus orchard, today Enderslea continues to celebrate it’s place in Western Australia’s heritage.

Established in 1853 by Henry Morley Snr., Enderslea was built with the help of ticket of leave men.

Enderslea has played an important role in the life of Chittering Valley since hosting fund raising events for nearby Holy Trinity Church in Bindoon since at least 1886.

Elsie Findlayson Ogden, the 2nd head mistress of Presbyterian Ladies College in nearby Perth, owned Enderslea from 1931 until her death in 1949.

Since the late 1990s, Enderslea has received ongoing restoration work and continues to play an important role to local communities by hosting events celebrating Chittering Valley, Western Australian and Australian history.

In 1999, Enderslea was recognized by the Australian and Western Australian governments as a place of historical significance.

Enderslea is a working farm in the modern digital age. With roots deep in Western Australian history, Enderslea’s grounds, activities and businesses have continually evolved since being established in the 1850s.

Enderslea’s main activity is educating communities about Western Australian’s heritage by producing and hosting historical plays and reenactments, publishing books and hosting group viewings, teas and visits.

Enderslea farm produces, markets and sells a variety of Western Australian and Australian farm wares.

Enderslea Farm is about an hour north east of Perth, Western Australia.

We produce and host plays about local history on an annual basis.

These productions help support Enderslea and educate the community about Enderslea’s place in Western Australia’s heritage

Enderslea Farm is National Trust registered and Heritage listed.
